PACK RANGE EXTENDER (P.R.E.)
|
Currently undergoing valuation the P.R.E. project ( pack range extender project) is characterised by an endothermic engine coupled with an electric generator : it’s aim being to increase the autonomy of an electric vehicle.
The Range extender is built to intervene whenever the battery power descends to a fixed minimum level so as to enable arrival at the nearest recharge point and at the same time to encourage a 100% use of the vehicle’s electric power . initially developed for the car sector , it was then extended to meet with more ample future requirements – as electrical traction these days is becoming increasingly more important.
