The AVIO DIVISION was founded in 2006, driven by the great passion of VDS pilot and parachutist Roberto Papetti.His know-how developed and refined through experience in the motorcycle competition field has been moved to the planning and designing of a specially built unit for aeronautical application. Thus the REM RAP 2.5A was born.
 

The RAP 2.5A is the first industrialisable result of a modular project of a “family” of specially designed aeronautic engines able to meet the requirements of light aviation.
 AD technicians have been able to make the propeller axel unit :
 
1)     simple from a construction point of view (the engine is built using 25%less components than in                other engines)
 2)     technologically and progressively advanced:
        -integrated fuel supply system
        -completely redundant electronic ignition
        -optimization of lubricant functionality
        -consumption control
 3)    controlled buying and maintenance costs
